Analysis reveals this is a failed Soviet thruster rocket. Prior to the successful Apollo 11 and 2019 Gudgenby Mission landings, Soviet Cosmonauts appear to have made several failed attempts to land and walk on the Moon. This is a stabiliser thruster from a Soviet luna lander that has ruptured during an attempt to descend to the lunar surface.
