Gudgenauts Bento Tray
The 1969 Apollo 11 mission coincided with the expansion of domestic and international air travel. Air travel companies borrowed heavily from the aesthetics and advances of space innovation. Cabin dining ware borrowed elements of the space aesthetic with flatware and related items reflecting space age ambitions. The Gudgenby mission design team Rohan Nicol and Sabine Pagan have extended this tradition in collaboration with ANU manufacturing engineers to produce the Gudgenby mission meal trays. These were used by Jack and Jill throughout their voyage.
